Nanaw forgot to set her alarm on Sunday night so she was a little late picking Chase up, but Mama said, "No worries!" When Nanaw got over to Chase's house, Chase took Nanaw downstairs to show her the recliner. He was so excited about it, and it was so cute to see. Chase and Nanaw went to the Columbia library to pick up a book for Mama. Nanaw also checked to make sure Chase was registered for Tales to Tails on June 26, and he is. After the Columbia library, Chase and Nanaw went to Dollar Tree. Chase bought lots of toys, and Nanaw bought lots of spare birthday cards. They bought two balloons for Nanaw to take to the cemetery for her and Pawpaw's 59th wedding anniversary today. Chase also got another stuffed bear so now he has quadruplets. Nanaw had planned for them to go to the Telegraph road library to do the scavenger hunt and go to the vending machine. But it had started to pour down rain, and Nanaw decided they would go home instead of going to the library; they'll go to the Telegraph Road library tomorrow. On their drive, Chase read both of the Narwhal books; he loves the Narwhal books. Nanaw will try to find more Narwhal books at the library tomorrow. In the afternoon, Chase and Nanaw did school Chase's baseball game was cancelled because the field was too wet from the rain. In the evening, Nanaw had dinner at the cemetery.
