Chase and Nanaw went to the Telegraph Road library to claim their prizes for being halfway through the summer reading program. Mama had sent the green Columbia library shirt for Chase to wear today. But he didn’t think he should wear the Columbia library shirt to the other library. So Nanaw found another shirt for him to wear. At the library, Chase was do excited to pick out a Narwahl book as his free book. He loves the Narwhal books. The vending machines were fixed so Chase got a Rice Krispies treat. On the way out, Chase was worried that the free books would set off the alarm because they hadn’t checked them out. Nanaw explained that it didn’t work that way and that the alarm wouldn’t go off. But Chase still made Nanaw go through the exit first before he would go through. When they got home, Nanaw set up the Ninja Warrior Obstacle Course for Chase using his wading pool and tree stumps. Nanaw also put up a flag. Chase put on his new swimming clothes and had a great time with the Obstacle Course.
