On Wednesday, Chase had what Nanaw is sure will be his most exciting adventure of the summer. He went to the Magic House. Brady's two grandmothers were planning to take him and his sister Emma to the Magic House on Wednesday, and they asked if Nanaw and Chase would like to go, too. Nanaw and Chase said absolutely yes. They all met in the main lobby and started on their adventures. Nanaw soon learned that Brady is a perpetual motion machine and had a habit of disappearing from view -- and Chase was following right behind him. So Nanaw did a lot of running after the two boys while the other grandmothers kept an eye on Emma. They visited so many things that Nanaw lost count. They visited th penguin display, the hockey area, the Legos, the construction area and the pizza parlor. They spent a long time in the water area -- Nanaw thinks that may have been one of their favorite places. They visited the China display upstairs, along with the trains. Their last adventure at the Magic House was to go outside so Chase, Brady and Emmy could take off their shoes and wade in the outdoor pond. They had so much fun doing that. Their final adventure of the day was to go to lunch at the McDonald's that is a block away from the Magic House, which happens to be one of the few remaining places with a play area. So after they finished eating, Chase, Brady and Emmy had a great time in the play area. All in all, it was a wonderful, fun day for everyone.
