Exciting adventure for Nanaw Thursday morning -- celebrating Grandparents Day at Chase's school. The program was to take Chase to his classroom for attendance and lunch count and then to go to the church for mass. Both of Brady's and Emma's grandmas were there, and Chase and Nanaw sat with them. Chase was interested in the fact that Nanaw didn't do the Catholic things, and later he asked Nanaw if her church did communion. Nanaw explained that some churches do communion and some don't and hers doesn't. But all churches believe in God and Jesus. It was really interesting for Nanaw to see how much Chase has learned about his religion. At one point, he told Nanaw to stop singing because she has a squeaky voice. LOL. There were cookies and milk in the hall for the students and grandparents. Nanaw and Chase were going to go on a tour of the gym and cafeteria with Brady and Emma and their grandmas but Chase didn't want to go because it was extremely crowded. He doesn't like crowds at all. He cried and wanted to go back to his classroom so Nanaw took him back. Brady's grandma took a picture of Chase and Nanaw and one of Brady with them. In the afternoon, Chase played outside in the water. He tried out all the settings on the sprayer for the hose.
