When Nanaw picked Chase up from school on Tuesday afternoon, he told her, "I have good news." But he wouldn't tell her the good news till they got to the car. In the car, Chase told Nanaw, "I got a 3 on my spelling test." (A 3 means he spelled all of the words correctly.) Nanaw called Mama at work for the pick-up call, and Chase wouldn't tell Mama his good news right away. Finally, he said, "I'm revealing the good news now," and he told Mama about the spelling test. He's such a funny guy! On the way home, Nanaw went to the post office to mail a birthday card and money to cousin Kristie. (Long story: Nanaw found the card and money in her iPad case and doesn't remember how and why it got there. So she sent it to Kristie.) When Chase and Nanaw got to Nanaw's house, Uncle Mike was already there, cutting the grass. Chase and Nanaw went over his school papers, and Nanaw had him correct the seven wrong answers on his math papers. After Uncle Mike left, Chase and Nanaw went downstairs to watch Arthur. Later in the evening, Mama and Chase picked up Nanaw, and they went to Walmart to pick up the Jack Skellington Mama ordered and had shipped to Walmart. Mama bought Butterfingers and Peanut M&Ms and gave everybody Butterfingers.
