Mama had the day off on Friday so she took Chase to school. When Nanaw picked Chase up, he told her he got 29 out of 30 on his reading test. He was in a bad mood and didn’t want to go to the library and Dollar Tree. The went to the library but not Dollar Tree. At the library, while Nanaw printed out the Aspenhof directory, Chase went into the children’s area and picked out two books. He also went to the bathroom by himself. Nanaw activated his library card, and he checked out his books by himself. He had discovered the vending machine was in business again. He picked out some fruit bursts. Nanaw forgot to study math with him so they’ll do that tomorrow afternoon when Nanaw goes to visit Chase. Mama called Nanaw to tell he that Chase finally told her what was wrong. She said he was sobbing about it. He got in trouble with the teacher today. He and the bullying boy made a noise, and the teacher made them walk laps. Then the other 4th grade class did something to get punished, and Chase's class was punished also. So that's why he was in such a bad mood.
