Chase got 24 out of 28 on Monday’s math test. Mama and Nanaw were hoping for something better. He did so well on the review and studying. Chase had an eight o’clock baseball game on Monday night. Nanaw decided to go watch the game, her first one this season. It was cool outside so that was good. Mama and Nanaw sat with Mama’s friends and that was fun. For several innings, Chase was the catcher, and that was fun for Nanaw. She was sitting up close to where Chase was catching. He got a couple of really good hits. Unfortunately, he scraped his left arm when he slid into third base. They took him out of the game for a few minutes and put Brady in as a pinch runner for him. The next inning he was back in the game, playing third base. It was a really good game but Chase’s team lost.
