When Nanaw picked Chase up from school, he had several things to report. He said he’d tell Nanaw the bad thing first. He said he was playing kick ball in PE and he hurt his arm in the same place he hurt it last night in the baseball game. He said the band-aid didn’t come off. He said the PE teacher was really nice about it. He said his teacher told him he was resourceful when he had to charge his Chromebook and then remembered to take it home. Another thing he told Nanaw that he drew a picture for the art teacher and she hung it up. At the pickup place, the troublesome classmate invited Chase over to play ROBLOX. Chase said no and walked away. Chase and Nanaw had a fun afternoon together. The played with two sandbox apps on their tablets. Then the went outside and played baseball and watered the plants. Back in the house, they watched Jeopardy — Chase really likes that game. He told Nanaw they’re going to watch it the rest of the week and then during the summer. Chase wants to go to the library on Friday when he gets out of school to check out more books and get something out of the vending machine.
