Mama brought Chase over to Nanaw’s house on Monday morning. He was feeling a lot better and was going to school. He liked the new toothpaste Mama bought for him so he’s going to start using it. After school, Nanaw was about a minute late to the pickup place because of how far away she was parked. Chase was upset with her, and Nanaw promised to not let it happen again. Nanaw felt really bad about being late, and she would make sure not to ever be late again. Chase didn’t have any homework. He did his AR reading and said he was going to do the test tomorrow. Chase and Nanaw spent time in the computer lab; Chase did some stuff on Nanaw’s computer and then played on the tablet, while Nanaw read the newspaper. Nanaw gave Chase several pieces of cheese -- provolone and Colby jack. He really liked the cheese. Mama came to pick up Chase at 5 p.m. for a baseball game. They lost 14 to 13, which is much better than usual.
