Chase and Daddy went to church on Sunday morning. Then Daddy, Mama and Chase did something Chase has been excited about and looking forward to for days: They went to their first Cardinals game of the year. The other day, Chase started to do a countdown for the game. The Cardinals won, and Chase was especially happy about that. Mama bought Chase all kinds of treasures, including two sets of baseball cards and a Cardinals blankets. Chase took his baseball glove along in case a foul ball came his way but it didn't happen. They were sitting close to where Dylan Carlson plays -- Mama's choice, of course. They ate hot dogs, pretzels, and popcorn. The weather was perfect and beautiful except towards the end of the game when they were in the sun. In addition to baseball game photos, below are pictures of Chase's Star Pupil poster that he's taking to school tomorrow. In the document about him, he says he wants to be an MLB player when he grows up. He also included Nanaw as part of his family, which made Nanaw very happy.
