Mama had the day off work on Friday so she took Chase to school. After her doctor's appointment, Mama came over to Nanaw's house for their shopping trip. First, they went to the library for Nanaw to check out books, then they went to Sam's to buy peanut brittle. Unfortunately, they couldn't find the peanut brittle that Nanaw had seen there a few weeks ago. Also, unfortunately, Nanaw's shortness of breath acted up again. Mama went to McDonald's to get lunch, while Nanaw started baking the green Christmas tree spritz cookies. Some of the batches got too done but the last one turned out perfectly. Nanaw will write on the recipe to set the oven to 350 instead of 400 and to bake them for seven minutes instead of 10 to 12. Mama and Nanaw went to pick up Chase after school, and he said that his friend Will might come over to play. And he did. Will rode his bike over to Nanaw's house. Chase and Will played soccer and football outside. Will brought in Nanaw's mail and then brought in a package from Amazon. Nanaw isn't going to Sherry's cookie exchange/brunch tomorrow because of the shortness of breath and the drive out there. But she is going to Uncle Mike's Christmas party Mama and Daddy will be driving. Chase had a hockey game tonight, and Mama said he did really well even though they lost.
