When Nanaw picked Chase up from school, he told her that he had lots of homework. He said he had math, history and reading. Nanaw asked about the vocab test that was showing up on Homework Central but Chase said he didn't think he had a test. His teacher is in Mexico, and the substitute was Mr. G., the principal, and he didn't say anything about a test on Friday. Chase said he didn't have any vocab materials. Cole's mom texted Nanaw asking if Chase brought home a vocab paper, and Nanaw told her no. Cole's mom and Mama were going to text Brady and Hunter's moms to see if they had any vocab information. Chase started working on his homework right away. Nanaw checked his math and told him all the problems were correct, and all he needed to do was add the word "week" to one of the answers. Chase said he was so happy not to have any problems wrong. He thanked Nanaw for always helping him with his math and told her he really appreciated it. Nanaw never did hear what happened about the vocab paper. She'll ask Mama tomorrow. The first photo below is of a Scotch tape dispenser that Nanaw is giving to Mama for keeps.
