When Mama brought Chase over to Nanaw's house Monday morning, she said he had an upset stomach and wasn't feeling well. She said to let her know if she should call the school to tell them he wouldn't be coming to school today. Chase said he said didn't feel well enough to go to school, so Nanaw texted Mama to make the call. Nanaw had Chase lay down on Pawpaw's bed to rest for a while. He ate some crackers a couple of times. At noon, he ate the Lunchable that he had been going to have for lunch at school. The school lunch was sausage and eggs -- and Chase does not like eggs -- so he was going to take his lunch. Around noon, he announced to Nanaw that he now felt fine but that he couldn't go to school because there were only a couple of classes left in the day. Mama drove up to school to get Chase's homework out of the "box." The "box" is outside the school and it's where teachers place work and homework for students aren't at school that day. Chase and Nanaw did his homework, and then he played on the computer.
