Today was the first day of Chase's hockey camp; it lasts all week. The camp is called the Gretsky Hockey School and is held at the Centene Center in Maryland Heights where the St. Louis Blues practice. Daddy took Chase to and from the hockey camp. He dropped Chase at Nanaw's house after the camp was over so she could visit with him. Chase had a schedule of the camp's daily activities, and he sent a copy of it to Nanaw. Max was the only one of Chase's hockey friends who was going to the camp, and he was in a different group than Chase. Starting at 8 a.m., first on the schedule was floorball. Next was on-ice, followed by another floorball session. Tomorrow Nanaw will ask Chase to explain what on-ice, floorball and workout are and what they do in the sessions. Then came lunch. Mama sent Chase a ham and cheese sandwich plus snacks. After lunch, they had another on-ice session, followed by a workout. Pickup time was 3:15. It was a little after 4 p.m. when Chase and Daddy got to Nanaw's house. At first, Chase was going to play hockey with his Marc Andre Nova hockey set but he decided he was too tired for that, and he just wanted to sit on the sofa and play on his phone so that's what he did. For snacks, he had popcorn, Kool-Ade and Fresca. Nanaw sat on the sofa with him and read magazines while he played on his phone. Nanaw took him home a little after 5.
