When Mama brought Chase to Nanaw’s house this morning, she said Chase and the "open bed" had not done well last night. He screamed and cried when Daddy tried to put him to bed. So Chase lay with Mama on the sofa until he fell asleep about 10 p.m. Then they put him back in bed, and he stayed there till 5 a.m. this morning. Mama says she hopes it goes better tonight. Chase and Nanaw went shopping at Walmart in the morning, and Chase wanted to see the Christmas trees. Nanaw explained that they were night night until next Christmas but Chase wanted to see for himself. So Nanaw took him to the part of the store where the Christmas trees had been so he could see for himself. After lunch, Chase and Nanaw went downstairs for school. Then Chase watched Phonics Farm, then Chase and Nanaw played with the Lincoln Logs. Chase took a long nap – he was probably tired from staying up so late and getting up so early.
