Chase had two major adventures today. First, he, Daddy, Mama, and Nanaw went to see Dr. Charles for Chase’s three-year annual checkup. Chase was very well-behaved and seemed to enjoy Dr. Charles. Chase weighs 33 ½ pounds and is 38 ¼ inches tall. He’s in the 60 the percentile – Dr. Charles says that means Chase is a little above average in height and weight. After the doctor visit, Mama had a surprise for Chase: They all went to see the animals at Suson Park. Chase seemed to have a really good time looking at the goats, ducks, geese, chickens, roosters and horses and one pig. Mama was disappointed because there weren’t any sheep for her to visit with. After seeing the animals, Chase was excited to go play at the playground. Nanaw came over in the evening for a delicious steak dinner – she was able to get Chase to take four bites of steak – a record. Chase, Mama and Nanaw played in Chase’s room, part of the time with the overhead light out and with Chase’s light-up dog on, putting light on the ceiling. Nanaw opened the fireplace app on her iPod to add to the ambience.
