Happy 46th birthday to Mama! Chase’s first adventure of the day was visiting Mama at work to pick up to take her out for her birthday lunch. Mama’s co-workers seemed to be excited to see Chase, and he seemed to be excited to see them – he ran up to them nd gave them hugs, something new for him. Chase ran around the whole time he was there, running up and down the aisles grinning. After leaving Mama’s work, Chase, Mama and Nanaw went to Fortel’s for Mama’s pizza birthday lunch. After lunch, Nanaw dropped Chase and Mama at home so Chase could take a nap. Later in the afternoon, Mama and Daddy dropped Chase off at Nanaw’s house. Mama and Daddy were meeting Uncle Mike and Aunt Becky and lots of Mama’s friends for a birthday happy hour. Then Mama, Daddy, Uncle Mike and Aunt Becky went to the hockey game. When Nanaw took Chase home, he played with the balloon Mama got from her friend the realtor, along with chocolate covered strawberries – Chase decided it was his balloon, and he seemed to have a grand time playing with it. Nanaw kept Chase up past his bedtime so Mama and Daddy could see him – and also, of course, so Nanaw could spend more time with the bugaboo.
