This morning, when Nanaw went to unpack Chase’s bag, she and Chase discovered that Mama had packed two stuffed elephants as props for story time but forgot to pack the elephant books – very funny and something that Nanaw teased Mama about. So Nanaw asked Chase get a book from his room for story time. Chase came back with the pack of Curious George books, 10 in all. But Nanaw only read one of them – Curious George and the Dump Truck. Mama says she will pack the elephant books and the stuffed elephants for Friday’s story time. Chase’s adventure today was a trip to Walmart. Nanaw went in the back way because she needed to get her oil changed so she didn’t have a shopping cart. She let Chase run loose in the store while they went to get a cart, and he seemed to have a wonderful time with his freedom. After lunch, Chase and Nanaw went downstairs for school and then they played with the Lincoln Logs. After Chase’s nap, he and Nanaw played with his mega blocks. Mama and Daddy said that Chase made Daddy play mega blocks last night for a really long time. Tonight, Chase said he and Daddy were going to go downstairs to play with his trains – this is something new with Chase planning what he and Daddy are going to do in the evening.
