Chase and Nanaw’s adventure for the day was a trip out to the Pulaski Bank in Ballwin to do Sisters in Crime business. Chase fell asleep on the way out there. The lady at the bank was happy to see Chase again, and she gave him two chocolate chip cookies. Chase and Nanaw played with Lincoln Logs downstairs when they got home from the bank, and Chase gleefully crashed the little log house that Nanaw made. Nanaw tried to get Chase to take a nap but he talked and sang Holly Jolly Christmas for almost two hours, so Nanaw got him up. He played with the Peppa Pig app on Nanaw’s iPod for awhile and then played with his red play dough and the cookie cutters. This time, Nanaw put a plastic bib on him so that he didn’t get ref play dough all over his shirt. Nanaw was afraid he’d be wild in the evening because he didn’t take a nap, but when she called Mama to ask about Chase, Mama said he was being very calm and well-behaved – go figure.
