Chase and Mama demonstrated his new trick to Nanaw this morning: When Mama pokes a finger on Chase’s tummy, he sings a song – like Jingle Bells or Holly Jolly Christmas – very cute. Last night Chase fussed again about sleeping in the open bed, so Daddy lay down on the floor next to Chase’s bed until he fell asleep – Chase told Nanaw about that, and it was very cute to hear him tell the story. Chase’s adventure for the day was a trip to Powder Valley. He seemed excited to be there again, and Nanaw thinks he especially enjoyed the fire in the fireplace – it’s the first time he’s seen one there. There were lots of little boys and girls there, and Chase seemed to like that – he followed two little girls around as they looked at the displays. He went to look at all his favorite things: the bear, the snakes, the bees, the fish, the puppets and the library. He even did some coloring. As usual, Chase didn’t want to leave – he really seems to love Powder Valley.
