Chase and Nanaw had a good day on Friday. In the morning, Chase showed Nanaw a game he'd been working on. He said he was building a safe house, and he took her on a tour of the safe house. It was very complicated and impressive. The reading assignment was about moths in cocoons and worms getting cut up. Chase seemed to enjoy it. He also enjoyed snuggling with his stuffed animals after the reading was done. Amazingly enough, he once again got all of his schoolwork done in time for Room 9 and Kreekcraft's live stream. It's surprising what he can do when he puts his mind to it and quits messing around. He did something funny with one of the school assignments. He had to fill in the blanks of a series of sentences. As he did it, he said, "This is sort of like a rap." Then he started saying the sentences like he was rapping -- very funny. It turns out that the wagon Nanaw bought didn't need to be put together. It was already together in the box. Daddy, Mama and Nanaw got a big laugh out of that. When Nanaw took Chase home, he played baseball with Daddy for awhile and then he played in his pool. Nanaw got a red wagon for Mama a Waterloo Walmart and some kettle corn and brought them back to Mama. Chase was playing with a golf putting green when Nanaw got there. Nanaw forgot to take pictures of Chase today so she asked Mama to take one.
