Mama dropped Chase at Nanaw’s house Saturday morning while she did things at home. Chase and Nanaw had reading time together. This time Nanaw read from the library book that answers questions children have. The part Nanaw read was all about seeds — what they’re made of, where they come from, what they need to sprout and what they need to grow. Then Chase did a workbook page about prefixes and suffixes. One of them had the words priceless and worthless in it. Nanaw told Chase the story about when Uncle Mike and Mama were little kids, someone wanted to say that their dog Maggie was priceless but instead said she was worthless. Chase liked the story. In the afternoon, Chase, Mama and Daddy went to Uncle Chris’s house for his July 4th party. Chase was excited to get to play with Elias and swim with Elias.
