Chase and Nanaw had sort of a mixed-up day on Thursday. Nanaw had an 11 a.m. appointment at Dobb's for an oil change so Chase and Nanaw postponed school until the afternoon. Chase and Nanaw both wore their masks when they went to Dobbs. They waited in the waiting room, and Chase played with Nanaw's Fire tablet and Nanaw did crossword puzzles. Chase was his usual wonderful, well-behaved self. It only took 45 minutes at Dobbs, which made Chase happy. Next, they went to the cemetery, the gas station and the library to pick up books for Mama. For Chase's lunch Mama sent leftover fettuccini from last night's dinner, along with a breadstick and some special treats: chocolate chip cookies and M&M's. Chase was excited when he saw the special treats. Mama also sent two pieces of Gouda cheese (Chase had one and Nanaw had one) and some cheese cubes for Chase. He's quit the cheesehead. In the afternoon, Chase and Nanaw had school. Chase zipped right through his work because he wanted to get  back to Kreekcraft's live stream. In the evening, Chase played in his new swimming pool. Mama sent a picture of Chase at Aunt Kristen's dad's swimming pool four years ago. The other picture is one that Mama took in the evening of Chase for Nanaw -- silly Nanaw forgot to take any pictures today.
