Chase and Nanaw had a good day on Wednesday. School went well. Chase really likes the reading sessions and seems to really enjoy the Answers book that they read from. He's learning all kinds of interesting facts about animals and insects and the universe. They asked Alexa if there was more than one universe, and she said some scientists have a theory that there are more than one universe and that there's a multiverse with parallel universes -- fascinating. Chase did really well with his addition and subtraction flash cards, and Nanaw was very proud. Nanaw asked Mama to order the Summer Bridge Activities book for 2nd to 3rd grade from Amazon. It will arrive at Nanaw's house on Friday. In the afternoon, there was a terrible thunderstorm and a tornado warning. The power went off for a brief time. Chase and Nanaw went downstairs to be safe. Chase was very concerned about Nanaw's kitties, and he helped her get them downstairs. Only Sidney cooperated so Nanaw had to get their treats and baby food to get them downstairs. It was so cute that Chase was worried about them and did his best to help. When he went home, he was disappointed that he couldn't play in his swimming pool because of the storm.
