Mama told Nanaw about the scooter ride Chase and Mama did on Sunday. Mama and Chase told Nanaw that he went up on a curb and fell down, badly skinning his knee. Mama said Chase sobbed so much. She told him he was okay and to shake it off so they could continue their scooter ride, and he did. In the evening, Nanaw came over for dinner -- delicious onion burgers and Mama's baked butter rice. Unfortunately, Nanaw was late getting there so she ate by herself. She came home the Wentzville way because she wanted to stop at Walmart to get Lactaid cottage cheese because Washington Walmart didn't have any. Chase came to sit with Nanaw while she ate her dinner -- it was very sweet. Nanaw thinks Chase likes her. She gave Sylvester and Sam each two bites of burger. After Nanaw was finished eating, Mama, Chase and Nanaw went outside. Chase practiced hitting and catching with Daddy while Mama and Nanaw watched. Daddy put memory foam in the outdoor couch cushions, and they're much more comfortable to sit on now. Mama wanted to go inside because the mosquitoes were biting her so Chase and Nanaw went inside with her. Chase and Nanaw played catch with a really soft ball in the living room for a little while then Nanaw went home.
