Columbia had another terrific thunderstorm on Tuesday. It rained really hard and Nanaw's new outside drain in the driveway got really backed up. Around noon, Mama came to pick Chase up so they could take his school supplies up to his school and meet his teacher, Miss Tara Kennedy. Mama says Chase's desk in the first one as you walk in the room, and Brady's is right next to it. Mama told Miss Kennedy that Chase and Brady are really good friends and that arrangement might not work out. It hadn't worked out in first or second grade. Miss Kennedy said they'd see how things went in the first couple of weeks. Chase's class is on the same side of the hall as Mrs. Meyer's class. The school still hasn't announced a drop-off and pick-up plan. Chase did well with school in the afternoon, and they got all of the work done. Mama went to Kohl's after she brought Chase back to Nanaw's house. She bought Chase a cool Minecraft shirt. She also bought another soft blanket with dogs on it; Mama said this one is for downstairs. Nanaw took a picture of Chase wrapped up in the blanket.
