Mama had the day off from work on Friday so she took Chase to school. She came over to Nanaw's house at 11:15 to get Nanaw so they could go pick up Chase. He was very happy to see them both. They went to Schnuck's to get chicken for lunch. They took the chicken back to Chase's house so that Daddy and Grandma Pat could also have chicken. It was delicious -- Nanaw had three wings. After lunch, they drove to Stuckmeyer's on Route 3 to see if the play area was open but it was closed. They went in the little store and looked around. The store had a lot of interesting antique things from the Stuckmeyer farm. Mama bought peanuts, chocolate candy and a pumpkin carving kit. Nanaw bought yummy delicious rocky road fudge. They took a drive down Hanover Road and then on to Bluff Road to see if they could find Stuckmeyer's farm, and they did. Nanaw also showed Mama the grotto up on the hill overlooking Bluff Road. They drove up the hill but couldn't find a road to the grotto. They went back to Nanaw's house and had lots of fun playing Scrabble Jr. and Don't Break the Ice. Then Mama went home to take a nap, and Chase stayed at Nanaw's house to play on her phone till it had to be charged and then on the computer. In the evening, Mama went up to the church/school parking lot to play drive-in Bingo. Hunter's dad brought a firepit for the moms, and Mama sent pictures to Nanaw.
