Mama said Chase couldn't play on the computer today before and after school because he said something mean to Nanaw. In the morning, he ate breakfast at the kitchen counter and watched Curious George. After school, Chase and Nanaw went to the park but only for a few minutes because of a problem. Chase had told Nanaw he and Brady got in trouble in class about flipping a pencil. Chase told Nanaw he didn't do anything wrong, that it was all Brady. At the park, Nanaw asked Brady about it and Brady said that Chase had told him to flip the pencil. Nanaw asked Chase if he did that, and he said yes. So Nanaw took him home. Nanaw told Chase he had to tell Mama about telling Brady to flip the pencil. Chase said he'd do it. Uncle Mike and cousin Joe came to Nanaw's house and did lots of work. They moved all the stuff off the deck, getting ready for the new decks in December. They split the logs from Nanaw's back yard. Joe cleaned out the gutters. They brought Uncle Mike's new Polaris, and he took Chase for a ride in it. When Nanaw took Chase home, he couldn't tell Mama what he did. He started to cry so Nanaw told Mama and Daddy. It was very sad. Chase hates to get in trouble, and he very rarely does because he's a good boy. Daddy said this was a good lesson for Chase to learn, not to do bad things because the results are bad.
