Mama emailed Chase's Young Authors' story to Nanaw. Here it is. Chase didn't win any awards but Nanaw is giving him Robux and Mama, Daddy and Nanaw loved his story.

The Big Championship

Once upon a time there was a boy named Josh. Josh loved baseball and played for his school. He threw right and batted right. Their team name was the BlueBirds. One weekend they played a three game tournament. They won the first game against the Seahawks 4-0. They won the second game against the Birds 5-4. Then they played the championship game against the Cubs.

The BlueBirds hit a three run homerun in the first to make the score 3-0 Bluebirds. Then the Cubs hit a solo homerun to make the score 3-1. Then the Cubs had runners on second and third. Then the Cubs got a ground rule double to tie the game 3-3. Then Josh’s friend hit a two run homerun to make it 5-3 Bluebirds. Then the Cubs hit a two run homerun to make it tied 5-5. Then Josh came up to bat. The pitcher threw three balls and two strikes. Then Josh hit a fastball and smacked it into the outfield and over the fence. Homerun! The crowd roared as he ran the bases. The BlueBirds won the tournament! Then they took the trophy to their school and celebrated.

The End

On Wednesday morning, Chase took his social studies rural 3D project to school. It was a Lego farm. Mama found a big enough box for him to carry it in. Nanaw wanted to help Chase by opening the car door and handing the box to him, but Chase wanted to do it all by himself so he did. When Nanaw picked Chase up from school, she asked Chase if the farm got inside all right. He said some of the pieces came loose but that he fixed it. He took two more reading tests today but didn't get 100%. After school, Chase had an orthodontist's appointment so he didn't get to go to the park. After his appointment, he had baseball practice. After Chase left, Nanaw went to Walmart and got a flu shot -- her first ever.
