Chase was happy to see Creeper on Thursday morning. Nanaw forgot to pack him in the guys' bag on Wednesday so he had an unsanctioned sleepover at Nanaw's house on Wednesday night. (Creeper is the green guy in the first picture below.) Mama picked Chase up from school so she could take him to his doctor's appointment for his wrist. They got really good news: Chase's wrist is completely healed, and he can return to sports. However, the only sport he can return to is hockey because the fall baseball and soccer seasons are over. Mama dropped Chase off at Nanaw's house after the doctor's appointment. Chase announced to Nanaw that he had finished reading his AR book Linked and took the AR test and got a 100 on the test. Yay, Chase! That brought his AR grade up to 98 from 89 -- from a B to an A. Several weeks ago, his AR grade was an F because he hadn't taken any AR tests. He started reading shorter books so he could take enough tests to raise his grade by the end of the quarter, and he did it. He told Nanaw that he had picked out his next AR book: it's the first one of the three-book Titanic series by Gordon Korman. The first book is Unsinkable; the second is SOS; and the third book is Collision. For homework, Chase worked on a math worksheet. Nanaw had to have him home by 5 because Daddy was taking him to hockey practice.
