Chase was happy about the choice for school lunch on Tuesday. It was hot ham and cheese, which is one of his favorites. He only has two school lunches he doesn't like and for which he brings his lunch from home: sausage and scrambled eggs, and country-fried steak. He had a nouns test in English today, and when Nanaw asked about it, he said he thinks he did well on it. After school, his only homework was to study for tomorrow's religion test and to do his AR reading. Chase said he would study for the religion test with Daddy tonight and do his AR reading at Nanaw's. After today's 25 minutes of reading, he only has 69 more pages to read. If he reads 10 pages a day, he'll be able to take the AR test on October 18 or 19 -- before the Memphis trip and the end of the quarter on October 20. He's hoping to raise his AR grade from a B to an A. He has to do a poster for his Science Fair project that's due October 23. The school is selling the poster board for $6.00, and Mama thinks she'll buy one for Chase to use.
