Chase still didn't wear his contacts to school today; it's been a couple of weeks since he's worn them. Nanaw suggested that he put them in tomorrow morning so that he doesn't forget how to do it. When Nanaw picked Chase up, they talked about what homework he had. The main thing is the vocabulary. He has pages in the workbook to finish that are due Thursday; he also has a quiz on Thursday. He finished the pages in the vocabulary workbook and then he and Nanaw studied the vocabulary words for a long time. The quiz on Thursday is going to cover two chapters instead of just one. He doesn't have any practices or games or anything else tonight so Mama will go over the vocabulary with him again. He won't be able to study much with Nanaw tomorrow after school because he has to be home at 4 p.m. to go to hockey practice. Nanaw was going to go to Waterloo Walmart to try to find a Rummikub game (Telegraph Road Walmart didn't have one) after she dropped Chase off but Uncle Mike came over to cut the grass, and she wanted to visit with him so she's going tomorrow afternoon. Uncle Mike told Nanaw that cousin Robbie bought a house in Florissant, and Aunt Karen was his real estate agent. Uncle Mike showed Nanaw the listing pictures online, and it's a darling little house. Nanaw is so happy for cousin Robbie, and she texted him telling him that. She also texted Aunt Karen thanking her for helping cousin Robbie.
