Chase didn't wear his contacts today. Mama and Nanaw will need to make sure he wears them when he has sports or a few times a week. When Nanaw picked Chase up from school on Thursday, he didn't want to talk about the homework list and whether he had everything. He wanted to go right to the car because he said he had something to tell Nanaw. She was worried about what it might be. He told her that his two main teachers had told the classes that they shouldn't have anyone help them with their homework. They can have people help them study for tests, and they can have people explain things they don't understand or don't know how to do. He had forgotten his English study guide about nouns for the test next Tuesday, so Nanaw drove around to the front entrance, and Chase went in to get the study guide. At Nanaw's house, Chase showed her what he's going to do for his book report assignment. He has the day off tomorrow, and he says they're going to work on the book report and maybe other homework.
