Mama had the day off on Friday and brought Chase over to Nanaw’s house about 8:30. Mama spent the day with Uncle Mike, and Daddy went on a float trip with his family. In the morning, Chase and Nanaw went to the Telegraph Road Library, and Chase seemed to have fun playing on the computer, playing with the alphabet letters and numbers and puzzles and games. On Friday afternoon, Chase and Nanaw went out to Aspenhof to spend the night. When they got there, they went for a walk in the woods. Nanaw brought lots of toys for Chase to play with, including Choo Choo Charlie, the Thomas the Train set from Barnes & Noble, his battery trains (Thomas, James and Percy)¸ crayons, coloring books and books to read. Nanaw kept Chase up past his bedtime because she was having so much fun playing with him.
