Thursday was a really rainy day so Chase and Nanaw changed their plans for the day and stayed inside where it was warm and dry – except for some time sitting on the front porch watching the rain. Chase seemed to really enjoy that and of course, didn’t want to come inside. Chase did a really cute thing with the stuffed animals in his crib – he brought a huge stack of them into the living and put them on the coffee table. Then a few minutes later, he moved them to the dining room table. Then he moved to them to the living room floor. Of course, Nanaw took pictures of all this. Despite the rain, Chase and Nanaw made a brief trip to Walmart, where bought a new train for Chase, Talking Toby, which seemed to delight Chase. He played with Talking Toby and Talking Thomas all morning. Nanaw made the mistake of letting Chase take Talking Toby and Talking Thomas to bed with him for his nap – and the three of them talked for an hour and a half. Chase did another cute thing when it was time for him to go home. Nanaw said it was time to go, and it took a long while for Chase to get to the door – he came shuffling along and then stopped and said, "My pants fall down." His shorts were around his ankles – very funny. His shorts were too big and Mama didn’t pack a belt for him to wear.
