Chase and Nanaw had a new adventure today: They went to Powder Valley, a Missouri Department of Conservation nature center located near highways 270 and 44. One of the worker ladies at the Transportation Museum Creation Station told Nanaw about Powder Valley when Chase and Nanaw were there yesterday. Nanaw looked Powder Valley up online, and it said there were fish in aquariums so Nanaw told Chase they were going to see fishies, and he got very excited about that. There were two aquariums and Chase spent a long watching the fishies swimming around, and he seemed to enjoy it immensely. There was also an outdoor area with lots of birds, squirrels, turkeys, and a waterfall. Powder Valley has educational displays for children and activities for children to do. Chase colored for awhile and played with stuffed animals; his favorite seemed to be a stuffed frog. He kept saying "Ribit" and jumping around – very cute. Nanaw was going to take Chase for a walk on the nature trails but it started to rain so they couldn’t go. Chase is going to have a Daddy / son adventure tonight because Mama is going to the baseball game and Ball Park Village with Auntie LaLa.
