Today’s Chase and Nanaw adventure included a trip to Pulaski Bank in Ballwin and Faust Park. The moment Chase and Nanaw walked into the lobby of the bank, Chase said, "Cookie." He remembered that he’d gotten a cookie there on his previous visit two weeks ago – he has an amazing memory. Once again, he was charming and quite flirtatious with the bank lady. He got a fresh-baked chocolate chip cookie, two lollipops, a coloring book and three crayons – quite the haul. Then it was on to Faust Park where Chase and Nanaw visited the Butterfly House. There were all kinds of bug displays, which Chase seemed to really like. There was also a room filled with wooden bug puzzles and bug books. The highlight of the visit was the Conservatory, a greenhouse full of butterflies, trees, plants and flowers. A couple of butterflies landed on Chase, and he really liked that. Next, Chase and Nanaw went to the carousel but unfortunately it’s closed on Mondays. Nanaw told Chase the merry go round was night-night, and that’s what he told Mama and Daddy when he saw them in the evening. Next, Chase and Nanaw went to the playground, which Chase really enjoyed. He fell asleep on the drive home and then took a short nap when they got home.
