Chase and Nanaw went for an early morning walk, and then after breakfast, went to story time at Barnes & Noble in Gravois Bluffs. The first story was about bugs, and Chase seemed to enjoy it. He also enjoyed watching the other boys and girls and mimicking the things they said and did. The story lady had a very special treat for the boys and girls: ice cream cups with chocolate or butterscotch syrup and enjoy it. The ice cream was a little hard for Chase to eat so Nanaw took it home for him. (He ate it later when it was soupy and seemed to really like it.) After snacks, he wanted to go to the Thomas table so Nanaw took him there. The story lady was singing songs with the boys and girls (Ring around the Rosey and the ABC song and Chase sang along from the Thomas table. When Chase woke up from his nap, he handed Tee to Tee and said :Tee Tee broken." Tee Tee’s ribbon had come off so Nanaw fixed it, and Chase said "Thank you, Nanaw," when Nanaw gave Tee back to him. Mama picked Chase up in the afternoon after her dentist appointment, and Chase, Mama and Nanaw went to Walmart, but in separate cars. Mama and Chase got drenched in a downpour of a thunderstorm but the rain had stopped by the time Nanaw left Walmart.
