Chase and Nanaw had an adventure Tuesday at what Nanaw is sure is Chase’s favorite place in the world: the Museum of Transportation. On the way there, Nanaw would ask him which way to turn, and he would point and say "Dis vay" (he has trouble with th and w) and he was always correct – amazing that a 2 1/2 year old recognizes which way to go. They went early and participated in the first session of the Creation Station. Chase seemed to have a wonderful time going from train table to train table, playing with lots of Thomas trains. Chase remembered about the parade they had the last time he was there, but the ladies who work there forgot about doing it. They promised to do it the next time Chase is there. After the Creation Station, Chase spent a lot of time with the circus trains, running around the display as the trains went around the track. Chase and Nanaw rode on the little red train twice and on the blue train once (the tram, really, but Chase calls it the blue train). They walked around the display of trains and walked through several of them. When Nanaw took Chase home, Mama told her about the "Closet Game" that Chase invented. He goes inside his closet and says "Come in" and then Mama and Daddy are supposed to get in the closet with him and close the doors – very funny. Nanaw went to Walmart after she dropped Chase off, and she bought him a new Thomas tee shirt – very cute.
