Chase and Nanaw had a great time at Aspenhof on Saturday. In the morning, Nanaw drove down to the big lake, and they walked around the lake on the nature trail. Chase stopped to sit on each of the benches and seemed very excited about the benches, the lake and the walk. They left after lunch, and Chase slept most of the way home. Nanaw took him home, and Mama tried to get him to take another nap but it didn’t happen. Mama was going to a birthday party in the evening so much to her delight, Nanaw got to babysit. Chase and Nanaw went to McDonald’s for dinner, much to Chase’s delight. He had his much-beloved fry-fries, chicken McNuggets, GoGurt, and chocolate milk. During the evening, they watched Peppa Pig, and Chase ate an oatmeal cookie, a mini chocolate donut and drank two glasses of pineapple juice. Evidently, this was too much food for the little bugaboo. When Mama got home, Chase threw up so Mama quickly got him into the bathtub.
