Today’s first adventure was a trip to the Telegraph Road Library to check out a SuperWHY DVD – that seems to be one of Chase’s favorite PBS TV shows. He interacts with the characters and shouts out letters when they ask for them. Chase played with the library computer, the little shopping cart and one of the games. He also found two Thomas books on the shelves, and Nanaw checked them out for him. Today’s second adventure was a trip to Walmart to do Nanaw’s grocery shopping. Chase was his usual helpful self, taking the groceries from Nanaw and putting them in the cart. After they checked out, Chase rode on the horsey and on Elmo, much to his delight. He always says "Bye-bye horsey" and "Bye-bye Elmo," very cute. When Nanaw took Chase home, Mama showed Nanaw the fishie she had bought for Chase at Walgreens. Chase played with it on the kitchen floor and seemed to have a really good time. So on her way home, Nanaw stopped at Walgreens and bought three more fish: a goldfish, a red shark and a grey shark. The red shark will stay at Chase’s house and the other two will be at Nanaw’s house.
