Chase and Nanaw had a special day today – they stayed home all day to play and didn’t go anywhere. Their first activity was fixing the track on the Thomas table downstairs. Yesterday afternoon, Chase took the track apart – the third of his three train track setups that he’s destroyed in the past couple of weeks. He really seems to enjoy taking the tracks apart when Nanaw isn’t looking. After the train track repair, Chase and Nanaw played trains downstairs for awhile before breakfast. After breakfast, Chase colored at the kitchen counter and also played with a sticker book. Then Chase and Nanaw played with Choo Choo Charlie and the Thomas book that has 12 little trains. Next, they played with the train setup in Chase’s room. During lunch, Chase watched Super Reader and then Thomas the Train. After his nap, Nanaw read the Spot Loves Mommy and Owl Babies books to Chase. On his own, Chase carried his red bag out to the car when it was time to go home – very cute.
