It was a rainy, cloudy day today so Chase and Nanaw mostly stayed inside and played with Chase's trains. They did run a couple of errands, going to the Telegraph Road library to pick up a SuperWhy DVD for Chase and then to the Columbia library to pick up an audio book for Nanaw. At the Telegraph Road library, Chase made friends with a little boy named Dan, and they put together two floor puzzles – Dan’s Mama and Nanaw helped some with the puzzles. Yesterday Nanaw sent Mama a photo of Chase sitting at the kitchen counter eating Doritos and cashews, snacks that Nanaw had bought for Uncle Mike, who was coming to cut the grass. On Tuesday when Uncle Mike and Aunt Becky got there, Chase began to entertain them and didn't stop until he went home. He sang the Thomas song and :"All About that Bass" and showed his trains to Uncle Mike and Aunt Becky. He didn't stop smiling the whole time and did his "flirty eye" thing -- very cute. This morning Mama sent Chase a photo from Minnesota: a donut shaped like a foot. Mama and Chase have a fun game called "Eat the foot!" so that was the caption for the photo. Chase and Nanaw will be so happy when Mama comes home.
