Chase had a major train day today. First thing in the morning, Chase and Nanaw went to the Museum of Transportation – Chase’s favorite place in the world. He played with the Thomas tables and wanted Nanaw to play with him so she did. He went from table to table and seemed to enjoy himself immensely. Chase and Nanaw rode on the red train twice and on the blue train (the tram, actually) once. Chase visited the circus train room twice and spent a lot of time running around the train display. They also explored the trains in the train shed, and Chase seems to love running up and down the aisles in the train cars. On their way out, they went through the red caboose, and Chase once again played with the old-fashioned typewriter. After leaving the "train house," Nanaw decided to once again try to find the train place in Valley Park. One of the mothers in the Thomas table room gave her directions. And they found it! It’s right next door to Carol House and is called the Frisco Train Store. It’s totally awesome. It has a huge train table in the middle of the store, and there are four other train tables the size of the ones at the Transportation Museum. Chase was absolutely delighted and seemed to have a wonderful time. Nanaw bought Chase a Thomas lighthouse that lights up and makes boat and foghorn noises – very cute. Chase and Nanaw will definitely return to the Frisco Train Store again soon.
