Nanaw went to visit Chase early on Saturday morning but she didn’t get to see Mama, who had left to go to a weather event with Uncle Mike out in St. Charles. Chase was wearing a wonderful new pair of Thomas the Train jammies. Mama says he found them in the laundry basket on Friday night and said "Wow" and seemed very excited about wearing them. Nanaw put a pair of glasses on Chase and took a photo of a smart-looking baby. Nanaw watched while Chase and Daddy played Pile in the corner of Chase’s room and Hide and Seek in Chase’s closet. Chase also played with his wooden puzzles and was able to identify all of the pieces. After Nanaw left, Chase and Daddy were going out to Wentzville to visit Grandma Pat, Aunt Patty and Zander. In the evening, Mama sent Nanaw a picture of Chase and Daddy in front of their new blazing firepit, and Chase had a big smile on his face as he looked at the fire. He even helped Daddy put logs on the fire.
