Nanaw was planning a day at home for Chase on Monday but then decided it would be fun to go to Suson Park to see the animals because they hadn’t been there in a long while¸ and then to Toys R Us to buy the wooden water tower for the Thomas table downstairs. First, Chase and Nanaw went to the library and checked out some Thomas books. Chase played with the floor puzzles and the Connect 4 game. The groceries and flannel board are gone – they must have been too messy for the librarians. Next, Chase and Nanaw went to Suson Park, and Chase ran around looking at all the animals and seeming to have a great time. Nanaw has to remember to go there often¸ weather permitting. Next, Chase and Nanaw went to Toys R Us. Unfortunately, Toys R Us didn’t have the wooden water tower so Nanaw bought Chase a little red train with a crane named Harvey. Toys R Us did have a Thomas table for Chase to play, and that seemed to make him very happy. Back at home, Chase played with his trains, of course. When Nanaw took Chase home, she stayed for dinner: delicious or "dee-wishes" as Chase says, mostaccioli and cheese garlic bread.
