Nanaw was excited that she got to baby sit with Chase on Sunday while Mama and Daddy went to the Rams football game. Chase got to Nanaw’s about 8:30, and they went downstairs. Chase played trains, and Nanaw worked on putting the Jane train track back together, which Chase had taken apart on Friday. Then Chase and Nanaw went to church. Chase wore his new dress shoes that Mama bought for the wedding they’re going to in October, and Chase seemed to really like them. He showed them off to people at church, which was really cute. Chase and Nanaw sat in the cry room, and Chase played with all the toys. Toward the end of the service, he started playing with the iPod, and that kept him occupied. One of the men asked Chase what he was doing, and Chase said he was painting. He was playing with the Thomas app that looks like painting. When Nanaw took Chase home, Mama invited her to stay for hot dogs. After dinner, everyone went for a walk, and tjeMama wanted to go to Marie’s Ice Cream Shoppe at Marketplace. Mama had a hot fudge sundae, Nanaw had a turtle sundae, and Daddy had a chocolate sundae. Chase had bites of everyone’s ice cream.
