Chase’s major adventure for Thursday was Tot Time at the Columbia Library. Chase and Nanaw visited the Children’s Reading Room before they went to Tot Time. Chase’s first action was to get the train from the toy shelf and play with it on one of the tables. The little boy that he shared the train with wasn’t there so Chase had the train all to himself. During story time, Chase behaved better than last time and sat in a chair for brief times during the story – this is progress. The craft was another apple, this one with hand outlines as the leaves. On the way home from Tot Time, Chase and Nanaw stopped at Chase’s house and put the apple on the refrigerator for Mama. After that, Chase and Nanaw went to Walmart, where Chase rode on Elmo and horsey. Nanaw spotted Halloween tee shirts to buy for Mama and Uncle Mike and sent a picture to Mama.
