Chase and Nanaw went for a walk first thing in the morning. Chase’s adventure for the day was going to story time at Barnes & Noble. He played at the Thomas table for about half an hour, then Nanaw asked if he wanted to go to story time, and he headed in that direction. However, things didn’t go well. He wouldn’t sit on the bench or the floor. He kept running around and going up on the stage. Nanaw tried to get him to sit down but it didn’t work. So Nanaw said they had to go home, and Chase cried all the way out of the store. Nanaw has decided that she’ll stop going to story time until Chase learns to sit quietly and listen to stories. Nanaw is hoping that Tot Time at the Columbia Library on Thursday turns out better than today did. After story time, Chase and Nanaw went to Walmart, and Chase rode on horsey and Elmo and was all smiles again. He played trains downstairs with Nanaw before his nap and then again after his nap. When Nanaw took Chase home, she went for a walk with Mama, Chase and Sam.
