Friday was a major day of excitement for Chase, Mama and Nanaw: It was the day of his field trip to Purina Farms. To Mama's and Nanaw's surprise, they got to ride the school bus with Chase on the field trip. Mama and Nanaw had anticipated driving separately. They left school about 8:45 a.m. Interestingly enough, Mama and Nanaw didn't realize that they were riding on the bus with Mrs. Murphy's class -- they were the only ones from Mrs. Herrmann's class on the bus. It was very funny. Everybody had a wonderful time at Purina Farms. Mama's favorite thing was the dog show. Nanaw thinks it was everybody's favorite. Chase also liked swinging on the rope swing. Mama and Nanaw were in charge of Chase and Drew. They got to visit the dogs and cats in their big house; they also saw horses, cows, pigs, rabbits, chickens and ducks. It was an absolutely wonderful day. They had lunch at the Fenton park, and the boys and girls had a super time playing on the play ground, except for Maria's fall -- she's fine now. In the evening, Daddy and Chase went to McDonald's for dinner and then to the driving range and the miniature golf course, while Mama and Nanaw went to Linda's visitation.
